HOPE FOR CLEVELAND
Bob Hope returned to his home town for a television production session for the Sun Newspapers
and took an an appropriate photo opportunity stance at eh Acacia Country Club in Cleveland.
The message from Hope, a former newsboy in Cleveland, is that the 18 Sun Newspapers covering 67 communities are "the best source of community news." The television campaign will carry into 1985.
This lot of photos, proofs, negatives, slide and letters of interest make for a great lot of Bob Hope Memorabilia. The candid shots feature Mr. Hope calling a meeting to order and reviews points in the meeting. There are pictures from the actual meeting as well as others taken on the golf course.
